ROTARIAN ANDREW GOLD SERVED THE EAST KILBRIDE ROTARY CLUB FROM MAY 1968 UNTIL NOVEMBER 2004
Andrew had over 36 years of active service with the club holding the office of President 1977-78 preceded with Council membership, Speaker Secretary for 2 years, Club Secretary for 3 years, Editor of club magazine from 1983-2002 & District Magazine Editor for 13 years
Andrew was made a Paul Harris Fellow by the Club 1993 this was followed by the first sapphire awarded by the District to him for his District service
I'm confident I can speak for all the members in the organisation that knew this gentleman in that he will be missed by all of us for all sort of reasons.
Andrew will be remembered for a long time to come.
